แถลงข่าว ศุลกากรแม่สาย ยึดอาวุธปืนยาว-ปืนพกสั้น 37 กบ.กระสุนเกือบ5หมื่นนัด ซุกรถตู้เตรียมส่งเข้าพม่าเย็น วันที่ 27 พ.ค. 2564 รอง ผวจ.ชร. / นายด่านศุลกากรแม่สาย / ภูธรเชียงราย / ปกครองแม่สาย / กอ.รมน.เชียงราย / ทหารม้า ฉก.ม.3 / ตชด.327 / ตม.จ.เชียงราย ร่วมแถลงข่าว การตรวจยึดอาวุธปืนยาว 14 กบ. อาวุธปืนสั้น 13 กบ. เครื่องกระสุนหลายชนิดรวม 46,375 นัดจากช่วงสายวันเดียวกัน ชุดปราบปรามศุลกากรแม่สาย เข้าตรวจสอบกระบะ มีนางจ๋าม นามวงศ์ อายุ 33 ปี ชาวบ้านป่ายางใหม่ ถือบัตรผู้ไม่มีสถานะทางทะเบียน และรถตู้ขนสินค้าข้ามแดน ทะเบียน ผท-341 เชียงราย มีนาย KYAW PHOY ชาวเมียนมาเป็นคนขับ และกำลังขนย้ายกล่องต้องสงสัยจากรถกระบะเข้าไว้ในรถตู้ พบว่ากล่องต่างๆซุกซ่อนอาวุธปืนยาว เช่น .22 ,ลูกซองออโต้ รวม 14 กบ. ปืนพกสั้น หลากยี่ห้อ 13 กบ. และเครื่องกระสุนหลากชนิดรวม 46,375 นัดสอบถามเบื้องต้น นางจ๋าม นามวงศ์ บอกว่า อาวุธปืนทั้งหมด รับการติดต่อจากชาวเมียนมา ว่าจ้าง 20,000 บาท นำกล่องดังกล่าวมาจาก บริเวณด้านหลังของห้างสรรพสินค้าดังแห่งหนึ่ง ในหมู่บ้านป่าเหมือด เพื่อนำฝากรถตู้ส่งข้ามแดนด้านหน่วยงานความมั่นคงชายแดนไทย เตรียมประสานงานหน่วยข้างเคียง ร่วมตรวจสอบอย่างละเอียดเกี่ยวกับแหล่งที่มาของอาวุธปืน และเครื่องกระสุนทั้งหมด โดยคาดว่าอาจจะมีการเกี่ยวข้องกับขบวนการค้ายาเสพติดด้วย///
