The Chin National Front (CNF), an armed group, signed a contract with the National Unity Government (NUG) on 29 May and became the first group to formally cooperate with NUG.
The CNF took an active part in political situations and militarized in anti-militarist activities after the coup.
NUG said today about the process of signature of an agreement between the CNF and the NUG to build federal democracy and participate in the anti-coup revolution.
In this agreement, the NUG and the CNF will have mutual respect for building federal democracy and working together against the junta.
Vice-President Duwa Lashi La, Prime Minister Man Win Khaing Than, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Home affairs and Defense Ministers of NUG signed with Pu Zin Kyone, president of the CNF, vice presidents and general secretaries for the agreement.
Although the EAOs joined the NUG as part of anti-coup activities, no such armed ethnic organisation has signed an agreement with the NUG.
Dr Salai Lyan Mone Sar Kaung, vice president of CNF became the first ethnic armed group leader to criticise Commander-in-Chief General Min Aung Hlaing as a culprit who destroyed ethnic unity.
He is effective in federal affairs and has participated in many peace deliberations over the past decade. And he serves as the Minister of the Federal Union Ministry under NUG.
The CNF was established at the end of 1988, according to research by U Maung Maung Soe, an expert of EAOs.
The president of the CNF is Pu Zin Kyone and Sawlamon is the commander. CHF headquarters is situated at the Indian border, northern part of Hakha. The number of troops is over 100 and it has no combat with the military.
It was signed during the National Cease-Fire Agreement (NCA) in 2015 and participated in the Peace Process Steering Team (PPST) which includes 10 armed ethnic groups that have signed the NCA.
According to reliable sources, CNF is participating in battles in Chin State and has gained power among young Chin recently.

တိုင်းရင်းသားလက်နက်ကိုင်အဖွဲ့အစည်းများအနေဖြင့် အာဏာရှင်ဆန့်ကျင်ရေးလှုပ်ရှားမှုများအတွက် အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရနှင့်ပူးပေါင်းနေသော်လည်း CNF မတိုင်ခင် တရားဝင်လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးခြင်းပြုလုပ်သည့် တိုင်းရင်းသားလက်နက်ကိုင်အဖွဲ့အစည်းမရှိခဲ့ပေ။
မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် အာဏာသိမ်းမှုဖြစ်ပေါ်ပြီးနောက် ဗိုလ်ချုပ်မှူးကြီးမင်းအောင်လှိုင်ကို တိုင်းရင်းသားစည်းလုံးညီညွတ်မှုပြိုကွဲစေသည့် အဓိက တရားခံတစ်ဦးအဖြစ် ပြင်းပြင်းထန်ထန်ဝေဖန်ခဲ့သော ပထမဆုံး တိုင်းရင်းသားလက်နက်ကိုင်ခေါင်းဆောင်သည် ချင်းအမျိုးသားတပ်ဦး၏ ဒုတိယဥက္ကဋ္ဌဖြစ်သူ ဒေါက်တာ ဆလိုင်းလျန်မုန်းဆာခေါင်းဖြစ်သည်။
ဖက်ဒရယ်အရေးကို ကျွမ်းကျင်နှံ့စပ်ပြီး ပြီးခဲ့သည့် ၁၀ နှစ်တာကာလအတွင်း ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးဆွေးနွေးမှုများတွင် ဦးဆောင်သူအဖြစ် ပါဝင်ခဲ့သော ဒေါက်တာဆလိုင်းလျန်မုန်းဆာခေါင်းသည် ယခုအခါ အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရ၏ ဖက်ဒရယ်ပြည်ထောင်စုရေးရာဝန်ကြီးဋ္ဌာန ဝန်ကြီးအဖြစ် တာဝန်ယူထားသူဖြစ်သည်။

CNF သည် ၁၉၈၈ နောက်ပိုင်းတွင် ပေါ်လာသောအဖွဲ့ဖြစ်သည်။
လက်ရှိဥက္ကဌဖြစ်သူမှာ ပူဇင်ကျုံးဖြစ်ပြီး စစ်ရေးတာဝန်ခံမှာ ဆော်လမွန်ဟုသိရသည်။ CNF
ဌာနချုပ်မှာ ဟာခါးအနောက်ဖက် အိန္ဒိယနယ်စပ်အနီးတွင် ရှိသည်။ အင်အားရာဂဏန်းသာရှိပြီး
အစိုးရ/တပ်နှင့် ပြင်းပြင်းထန်ထန် တိုက်ပွဲဖြစ်ဘူးခြင်းမရှိပါ။ ၂၀၁၅ တွင် NCA လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးထားပြီး PPST တွင်ပါဝင်သည်။ PPST သည် NCA စာချုပ်လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးထားသည့်တိုင်းရင်းသားလက်နက်ကိုင်အဖွဲ့အစည်း ၁၀ ဖွဲ့ဖြင့် ပူးပေါင်းဖွဲ့စည်းထားသည့် နိုင်ငံရေးမဟာမိတ်အစုအဖွဲ့ဖြစ်သည်။
မြေပြင်သတင်းများအရ CNF သည် ယခု ချင်းပြည်နယ်ရှိမြေပြင်တိုက်ပွဲများတွင် ပူးပေါင်းပါဝင်နေကြောင်းသိရပြီး စစ်အာဏာရှင်ဆန့်ကျင်ရေးလှုပ်ရှားမှုများကြောင့် ချင်းလူငယ်များအကြား ပြန်လည်ရေပန်းစားလာပြီး အင်အားတိုးလာနေကြောင်းသိရသည်။
